We could all use something to look forward these days – enter newly emerging NJ alternative band Love on Acid. They’re still marching along and have announced themselves with their bouncy new single “Upward!” The group – which consists of vocalist Jimmy Fasulo from NJ blues-rock band Ernston and Phil McGarry formerly of staple NJ acts Save Face and On Your Marks – have crafted a dynamic number that displays influences from ska to 90’s alt-rock with a bit of retro pop throw in for good measure. The song contains some sharp hooks and truly catchy lyrics, making it an accessible tune that still has more than enough edge and style to appeal to fans of both artist’s respective projects. The single is sure to be followed by more upcoming releases from Love on Acid, whose eclectic sound is bound to gain fans and listeners. Be sure to follow them on all streaming and social media platforms!
